The leaves on trees are red and gold!
Monday, October 26th, 2009Fall in NW Florida is a beautiful time. The leaves have changed colors, it is cool enough to spend the evening around a campfire in front of a fireplace in the AU cottages. This is the time of year when we see a lot of wildlife. The summer crowds have thinned out and the four legged creatures come out to play. You can go out on the river and spend a peaceful afternoon watching the turtles sun themselves on logs by the river. If you’re really lucky you may see a dear drinking water or crossing the river. This morning I saw a hawk perched on a tree. He (or she) was enjoying a peaceful morning at AU.
