The Schoolhouse Inn

Come to Adventures Unlimited and enjoy the ambiance of Old School House Inn. The Inn was once the School House in Fidelis, Florida (Fidelis is about 15 miles from Adventures Unlimited.) The school was transformed into an Inn at AU about 10 years ago. Each room has hardwood floors, high ceilings, large windows, and is furnished with antiques. They are all air conditioned and four of the rooms have gas fire places (seasonal). Please read the following descriptions to decide which room best suites your needs.

OTHER INFORMATION

There are NO televisions, telephones, clocks or radios in any of the cabins. If you need, you may feel free to bring your own.

Cell phone coverage is limited but steadily improving.

Schoolhouse Inn Units

Room 1 - American Poet's Room

The American Poet's room has a small seating area, a queen size bed, a small room with bunk beds (linens are provided), a bath with a large shower, a small microwave, coffee pot and refrigerator.

Room 2 - John James Audubon Room

This room has a small seating area, a queen bed, a double bed (linens are provided), a full bath. There is a private screened in porch with rocking chairs, a small microwave, coffee pot and refrigerator.

Room 3 - William Faulkner Room

This room has a small seating area, a queen bed (linens are provided), a full bath, a private screened porch with rocking chairs, a small refrigerator, coffee pot and microwave.

Room 4 - Dr. Seuss Room

This room has a small equipped kitchen with a two burner stove top, a mini refrigerator, a small coffee pot and microwave. There is a queen size bed and a small room with bunk beds (linens are provided), and a small seating area.

Room 5 - Ernest Hemmingway Room

This room has a gas fireplace (seasonal), a small seating area, a queen size bed and a small room with bunk beds (linens are provided), a full bath, a small refrigerator, and microwave, coffee pot.

Room 6 - Margaret Mitchell Room

This room has a gas fireplace (seasonal) a small seating area, a queen size bed (linens provided) a full bath, a small refrigerator, coffee pot and microwave.

Room 7 - Marjorie Kinnan Rawlings Room

This room which has a gas fire place (seasonal), a small seating area, a queen size bed (linens are provided) a small refrigerator, coffee pot, and microwave.

Room 8 - Mark Twain Room

This room has a gas fireplace (seasonal) a small seating area, a queen size bed in the main room and another queen size bed in a separate bedroom, a full bath a small refrigerator, coffee pot and microwave.
