Nature Lesson pre K-second grade Students get a lesson in protecting the habitat.
$10.00 per student, 30 student minimum.Students learn about the importantance of protecting plants, animals and their enviroment.They will learn about things they can do to make a difference. The program lasts about 2 hours and involves a nature walk.
Oregon Trail 4th - 6th grade $10.00 pp with a 30 person minimum. Students break into small groups and use clues to make their way "across the Oregon Trail". The program lasts about 2 hours. You may add a hot dog cookout for $5.00+ tax more per person.
Orienteering: $10.00 per person with a 30 person minimum. Students learn basic map and compass skills, then break into small groups and put their knowledge to work on the orienteering course. Teams will use the map and compass to find their way from one flag to another in sequential order. The first team back wins. This program lasts approximately 2.5 hours.
Star Gazing
This far removed the ambient lights from towns and cities, the night sky opens up into a vivid array of pinpoints of stars and planets. We first set up a classroom training with a projection of the sky to learn what is what, then we go outside to look through a telescope, or lay upon our backs in a field, with a wide open sky above us. Minimum of 50 people and must be part of a group package.
