• Reservations. Reservations and prepayment are required for All overnight trips, the 11 and 15 mile Coldwater day trips and all trips on Blackwater and Juniper.  We strongly suggest reservations and prepayment for all our trips.  To guarantee there will be a craft for you, you must prepay. Arrive 15 minutes before your departure time. 
• Directions. Make sure everyone in your group has good directions.
• Bring appropriate dress for swimming and sunning, sunscreen, lots to eat and drink, and trash bags to help keep the river clean.
• Pets are welcome on the river for an additional charge of $10.00 per pet. Please be sure to keep them on a leash at all times while on AUOC property.
• To increase the comfort of your canoe experience, rent a seatback for $4.00 per person. 
• Let Adventures Unlimited pack your picnic lunch for $10.00+tax person. The picnic includes a sandwich, a fresh baked cookie, fresh fruit, chips, water and a soft drink for each person, all packed in a cooler by Adventures Unlimited so it is ready for you to pick up  and take on the river.  Call ahead to reserve at least 48 hours in advance.
• Remember to leave only your footprints when you depart. Please don't litter.
• GLASS CONTAINERS and STYROFOAM COOLERS ARE NOT ALLOWED ON THE RIVER. Please be aware that it is against the law to take glass containers on the river. Violations can be charged at $50.00 per instance. For example, a six-pack of bottles could cost you $300.00.
   

  Did you know…?

It takes 400 years for a plastic 6 pack ring to decompose? During this time, fish and other wildlife may easily become entangled in the rings; monofilament fishing line also poses a threat to wildlife who may become entangled in it. Styrofoam, plastics, fishing line, aluminum cans, glass bottles, and other debris pose a threat to wildlife and the natural habitat. Join Adventures Unlimited Outdoor Center in our continuing efforts to keep the environment pristine for generations to come. Please leave only your footprints behind; remember to bring trash bags to pick up litter along the way. Glass containers and STYROFOAM COOLERS are not allowed on the river.

 WHAT TO BRING FOR RIVER TRIPS

Adventures Unlimited Outdoor Center will provide you with the canoe/kayak/tube, transportation, Personal Flotation Device, and paddle. Other things you may wish to bring. *Picnic lunch, or call and we can provide one for you (48 hour advance notice).
