Biography: Born in Ohio. Moved to Florida in
1958. Began canoeing at the age of 10. Grew up in
Gainesville Ocala National Forest area. Spent boyhood
hunting, fishing, and collecting artifacts. 21 years
in Marine Corp and Marine Corp Reserve. Started Adventures
Unlimited with wife Esther in 1976.

In my free time: white water kayaking,
mountain climbing, hiking, canoeing, snorkeling, traveling.

Suzi Roberts Title: Business Manager Responsibilities: Administration, Group Retreats, Challenge Course Facilitator Biography: Worked for Adventures Unlimited as a teenager, came back as a 30-something adult with a degree in Leisure Services from Florida State University. Married to the same wonderful guy for 20-something years. Two teenage children and a growing amount of gray hair. Background: B.S. Leisure Services, F.S.U. Title: Challenge Course Manager & Facilitator
Responsibilities: Maintain
the high and low challenge course and equipment, supervise.
Train Level One and Two facilitators. Coordinate
programs for large and small groups from K-1 to adults.
Biography: I
am an active out door sort. I love to canoe, hike
and camp. I am active with a local Boy Scout Troop.
I am the proud mother of two Eagle Scouts. I play
soccer on a local woman’s team.
Background: B.S.
from Southern Illinois University. I am a Leave
No Trace Instructor, American Canoe Assoc. Instructor,
Florida Master Naturalist, Wilderness First Responder,
and American Red Cross C.P.R., and a member
of Assoc. for Experiential Education.
In my free time: I
canoe. I enjoy paddling rivers from the Boundary Waters
to the Everglades and all points in between. Multiple
day trips are my favorite, five days or longer.
Favorite Cabin: Granny Peadon's Cabin
Favorite Boat: We-No-Nah Vagabound (solo canoe)
Favorite River Trip: What ever river I am currently
canoeing on
